100 years of YIVO — from puppets to sacred pages

YIVO Institute’s centennial is marked by three exhibits showcasing rescued Jewish artifacts, from pre-war schoolwork to sacred texts smuggled from Nazi-occupied Vilna.

Open at New York’s Centre for Jewish History, these exhibits honour YIVO’s mission to preserve Jewish history and culture.
