An immersive dinner takes a culinary journey through the Jewish Diaspora

A new New York event titled StoryCourse: Diaspora combines theatre and a four-course meal to tell the stories of four Jewish families—from Ukraine, Ethiopia, Iran and Mexico—who migrated to the US. The experience uses food and narrative to challenge the assumption of a single “Jewish” cultural standard.
