How the Klezmer Institute rescued hundreds of tunes from oblivion

The Klezmer Institute’s Kiselgof-Makonovetsky Digital Manuscript Project has digitised nearly 1,400 historic Jewish melodies once locked away in archives. The initiative is revitalising klezmer music by making rare tunes accessible to musicians worldwide.
