Inside Jewish Joy Con, the new Jewish convention celebrating pop culture and community

Jewish Joy Con is the first-of-its-kind convention celebrating Jewish pop culture, literature, and joy. Set for March 13–15, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this three-day event was created by romance author Jean Meltzer. It will feature merch stalls, panel discussions, and community programming, all designed to uplift Jewish identity during challenging times. Meltzer—who also founded the Jewish Joy Book Club and Jewish Joy Box—saw the surge in global antisemitism after October 7 as a catalyst to spread positive Jewish culture through this vibrant gathering.
