King and Queen meet Holocaust survivors at Palace

King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted Holocaust survivors and their families at Buckingham Palace to mark Holocaust Memorial Day and the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The King honoured survivors’ contributions to remembrance, describing those who had died as present “in spirit”. The event included candle-lighting, tributes to survivors past and present, and reflections on the need to confront antisemitism, alongside meetings with youth ambassadors and memorial charities.
