Lost Holocaust music, nearly erased by Stalin, goes on tour in Asia

A collection of Yiddish songs recorded from Holocaust survivors in Ukraine in 1944—later suppressed during Stalin’s crackdown on Jewish culture and nearly lost for decades—has been revived through Yiddish Glory: The Silenced Songs of World War II and is now touring Asia. The project preserves the voices of Holocaust survivors while introducing new international audiences to this remarkable musical and historical legacy.
